GLASGOW, Scotland - A young Canadian man who attacked another man he thought was a zombie was found not guilty of murder Wednesday by reason of insanity.

According to BBC News, Canadian Tianhui Zhan, 19, was walking on a street last October when he encountered Michael Davis, a 21-year-old cleaner on his way from one job to another.

Zhan thought Davis was a zombie and stabbed him three times, BBC News said. Court heard the young man has long suffered mental-health problems and had not been taking his medication.
