The "Llullaillaco Maiden" is a 15-year-old girl that was sacrificed during the Inca Empire for both religious and social control purposes. She was put on a weight-gain diet for a whole year before her sacrifice and then she was drugged and left on top of a the Llullaillaco volcano in northwest Argentina.
