Androids are real

One giant leap towards robot world domination: Actroid-F, a super-realistic human-like robot developed by Kokoro Co. Ltd. and ATR and coming strainght from the depths of the uncanny valley, was launched earlier this month in Tokyo. Its function is to work in hospitals as a caretaker and it is "supposed to give patients a heightened sense of security".
